Fede Menapace

"And then we emerged to see the stars again."

His Role

As Chief Growth Officer at Beckley Retreats, Fede is dedicated to increasing access to transformational psychedelic experiences. He leads strategy, partnerships, and expansion efforts – both in the U.S. and internationally – helping Beckley Retreats build safe, sustainable, and impactful pathways for growth. His role is rooted in the belief that these experiences, held with care and integrity, can bring deep relief to those who struggle.

His Story

Fede’s journey into this field began with profound personal loss at a young age. The impact of that trauma stayed with him for years, manifesting as anxiety and depression, until he discovered firsthand the transformative power of supported psychedelic experiences. That shift changed the course of his life and clarified his purpose: to help others access the same kind of care that brought him back to peace and wholeness.
Before joining Beckley Retreats, Fede built a diverse career in structural engineering, management consulting at McKinsey & Co., technology leadership at Segment (acquired by Twilio, NYSE: TWLO), and nonprofit leadership as COO at the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). At MAPS, he led funding campaigns supporting Lykos PBC in advancing research on MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD. Later, he guided the nonprofit’s global initiatives, overseeing the launch of the international MDMA therapist education program and promoting research, education, and drug policy reform. Across these roles, his focus has remained on building bridges between people, organizations, and ideas that can move the field forward.
Fede graduated with his MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

‍His Why

Fede believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive and that access to tools for mental and emotional wellbeing should be recognized as a universal human right. He is committed to making safe, well-supported psychedelic care more accessible worldwide – whether through retreats, new clinical models, or future FDA-approved therapies. As both a leader and a father, he brings to his work a deep sense of responsibility: to ensure that these powerful tools are not reserved for the few, but available to all who need them.
