Kosu Boudreau
Lead Facilitator
"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. ― Anais Nin"
Her Role
Kosu is a Lead Facilitator and provides trauma-informed facilitation as well as preparation and integration support for Beckley Retreats guests.
Her Story
Kosu Boudreau is a psychotherapist, group facilitator, and spiritual care educator with more than 25 years’ experience accompanying people through journeys of healing, transformation, and meaning-making. Her current work brings psychotherapy, spiritual care, and contemplative practice into conversation with psychedelic-assisted healing.
A longtime Zen practitioner whose clinical work is deeply informed by somatic and experiential psychotherapies, Kosu has mentored groups of trainees through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute (IPI) for six years. As a Lead Facilitator for Beckley Retreats, she provides comprehensive preparation, facilitation, and integration support.
Earlier in her clinical career, she trained professional chaplains and served as lead therapist at a ketamine clinic. Her approach is grounded in presence, curiosity, and discernment, creating space for profound experiences to unfold and meaning to emerge in its own time.
Her Why
Kosu is a passionate believer that “the truth can set you free.” Prior to psychedelics, she had experiences of awakening through meditation and embodied movement. Kosu returned to school at 54 years old to complete a Master of Social Work with a desire to focus on social change. Once she discovered the transformative power of plant medicine, she decided to dedicate the rest of her life to working with these medicines, to alleviate suffering, facilitate change, and support collective liberation.
