4-Night Retreat

The Beckley program is a five-day guided psilocybin experience set at The Place To Be, a serene retreat center in the Achterhoek region of eastern Netherlands, surrounded by woodland and open meadows.

Beckley Retreats is a US-based public benefit corporation operating exclusively in legal jurisdictions, currently Jamaica and the Netherlands. Our guests come from all walks of life, many in their 40s through 70s, including executives, senior leaders, doctors, lawyers, and healthcare professionals, and we take real pride in the diversity of each group. What they tend to share is a readiness to look honestly at the patterns that haven't shifted, whether they are navigating burnout, a significant inflection point, or simply ready for something different.

Every participant goes through a suitability process before being accepted, to ensure the program is genuinely the right fit and that each cohort is intentionally composed. The six days on retreat include two guided psilocybin experiences, facilitated group sessions, meditation and breathwork instruction, personal time, connection with your cohort, and dedicated space for preparation and integration, held by a team of practitioners with hundreds of years of combined experience in this field.

The on-site days sit inside a structured 11-week program: four weeks of digital preparation beforehand and six weeks of integration support afterward, each including self-paced material and cohort sessions designed to fit around demanding professional lives. We draw on contemplative practices including meditation and yoga traditions, alongside evidence-informed wellbeing modalities and the work of our Harvard and Yale-affiliated research team. The weeks before and after the on-site experience are what make the change last. By the time you return home, the intent is that you feel prepared, supported, and equipped to carry the work forward, with structure and a team behind you, not on your own.
