A Beckley program costs $4,250 to $12,500 per guest. Where you sit in that range depends on three things: the country, the length of the retreat, and the room you choose.
Every price covers the whole program: four weeks of preparation before you travel and six weeks of integration after you return, both online and at your own pace, one to two hours a week, plus the retreat itself with two guided psilocybin sessions, accommodation, all meals and private airport transfers. The only thing not covered is your flight.
Prices for psilocybin retreats elsewhere vary far more than that, from a few hundred euros for a single-day truffle session to well over $10,000 for a week at a luxury property. The number on its own tells you little. What matters is what sits around the session, and that is what the rest of this page sets out.

Within each range the room is the only variable: a shared room is the lower price, a private room sits in the middle, and the top price is the most premium private room the venue offers. Most guests choose a private room. Prices do not change by date, and the two Dutch venues are priced the same. What drives the price
Five things you are paying for, in any program worth the money.
The weeks around the retreat
A retreat that ends when you leave is cheaper to run. Ours is built around what happens before and after: a 1:1 intake call, group calls with your cohort, guided practices, then six weeks of integration with weekly calls. That is where the change takes hold, and it is in the price.
The ratio in the room
During sessions there is at least one facilitator for every four guests, usually one for every three, in one room with your group and the full team. Ratio is the single biggest cost line on retreat and the first thing cut when a price looks too good.
Who is in the room
Our teams include practitioners with backgrounds as psychotherapists, psychologists and physicians. On retreat they are not acting in their licensed capacity, because Beckley does not provide medical treatment, but that training is in the room with you. In Jamaica a nurse is on site during every session with a doctor on call.
The venue
Private, quiet and prepared for the retreat: a restored estate in the hills of Trelawny in Jamaica, and two retreat centres within an hour of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Every Jamaica room has its own bathroom. Time in nature is written into the days.
The room you choose
Room type is the only variable inside each range. A shared room is the lower price. Most guests choose a private room, and if discretion matters to you for professional reasons, tell us on the application.
Screening
Every applicant is screened, and every applicant has a suitability call with our team. it is not optional: it is where we go through your history together, answer your questions and make sure the program is a fit, for you and for the group you will sit with. Screening is not free to provide, and it is the reason everyone in the room can take part safely.
Four questions to ask any retreat, at any price. Who screens you, and how? What happens before and after the retreat, and is it included? How many facilitators are in the room during a session? What are their backgrounds? If the answers are thin, the price is not the problem.
How people pay
A deposit, then instalments.
A deposit of 50 percent is due at registration. The remainder can be paid in equal monthly instalments until 60 days before the retreat, when the full balance is due. Most guests book about eight weeks ahead, which gives the full four weeks of preparation.
The refund terms are set by the retreat start date. Within 14 days of registering, and 60 or more days before the retreat, you receive a full refund, deposit included. Outside that grace period and 60 or more days out, the refund is minus the deposit. Within 60 days of the retreat the payment is non-refundable. At any time before your retreat you can move to another date for a flat $500 fee, subject to availability. If we cannot approve you after a conditional approval and second suitability call, you receive a full refund or a free transfer.
Financial aid
Beckley Retreats is a public benefit corporation with a mandate to widen access. We have awarded more than $300,000 in program access to 67 guests to date. Aid is based on need, and applying for it does not affect your application to the program.

Before you apply
Questions people ask about cost.
Is the deposit refundable?
Within 14 days of registering, and 60 or more days before the retreat, you can cancel for a full refund, deposit included. After that grace period the 50 percent deposit is non-refundable, and within 60 days of the retreat the payment is non-refundable. You can move to another date at any time before your retreat for a flat $500 fee, subject to availability.
Can I pay in instalments?

Are flights included?
No. Private transfers to and from the nearest international airport are included on arrival and departure days: Montego Bay for Jamaica, Amsterdam Schiphol for the Netherlands. Flights are yours to arrange.

No. Prices are set by country, program length and room type, not by date. Every open retreat is listed on Upcoming Retreats with its venue, places left and price.
